Paraments for Easter

Easter Sunday is always the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox.  It is the most important day of the church season.  A time to feast after the long fast of Lent.  A time to celebrate the risen Christ!  God's miracle of re-birth!  He is risen indeed!  White (the color of purity) and Gold (the color of value and worth) are used during this celebratory season.  Symbols include lilies, butterflies, the empty cross, and the Lamb.
