Promise of Peace
The rainbow has long been a symbol for hope in the Christian tradition. Now it means even more. Promise of Peace celebrates the LGBT community. The rainbow has been a symbol of Gay Pride since 1978 when it was popularized by San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker. The spectrum of colors stand for diversity and a hope for peace.
