Paraments for Ordinary Time

Ordinary Time, or Time of the Church, is the longest season of the church year.  It begins after the Day of Pentecost and ends the Sunday before Christ the King, sometime in November.  It is a time to grow as followers of Christ.  To renew our faith through the Holy Sacraments of Communion and Baptism.  Green (the color of growth and renewal) is the main color of the season.  Symbols include grapes and wheat, chalice and bread, water, fish, ship, and of course the cross.
